Early Spring Weed and Feed 9-0-0
Corn Gluten Meal (CGM) is a natural broad-leaf pre-emergent that helps prevent weeds from establishing in the spring. CGM is rich in Slow Release Nitrogen which helps promote thicker lawns and lasting turf color. CGM from Suståne is NON-GMO, granulated, and screened, allowing for easy and consistent application.
Apply before germination of weed seeds. A short drying period following germination helps kill the weeds before they form roots. If it does not rain for 5 days after application, water with approximately 0.25” of water and then allow the soil to dry for a period following germination. For improved weed prevention apply at a rate of 20 pounds per 1,000 ft2.

Late Summer Turf Starter and Overseeder 4-6-4
Our Turf Starter is specifically formulated to be applied directly with grass seed. Sowing additional applications of grass seed to an existing lawn is one of the best ways to promote a thick lawn free of weeds, without the use of chemicals. Suståne 4-6-4 combines high-quality compost with organic phosphorus from composted turkey litter to provide the unique conditions that grass needs in order to establish. The composting process fully stabilizes the fertilizer, making it safe so it will not burn the grass seed. This allows the nutrients and beneficial biology to be applied directly where the seedling needs it.
Apply anytime new grass seed is being established. Grass establishes best during the cool, wet weather in the spring and fall. 30 pounds covers up to 5,000 ft2 For overseeding, mix 6 pounds of Suståne Turf Starter with enough grass seed to cover 1,000 ft2 (2.9 kg of Suståne with enough grass seed for 100 m2). Apply 10 pounds per 1,000 ft2 if grass clippings are removed or if the turf is heavily used or intensively managed.

Fall Winterizer 8-0-4
Suståne’s Winterizer provides the plant nutrients and carbohydrates that grass needs to prepare for winter, resulting in healthy turf and a quick spring green-up. It contains Slow Release Nitrogen so that it will not promote growth late in the fall, but will instead build up reserves for the winter. Extra potassium sulfate helps the turf build up carbohydrates and proteins, which improves cold tolerance and allows a more healthy plant survival in the winter. Our Winterizer also provides the soil-building characteristics of high-quality compost, to use the winter months to improve soil structure and health.
Apply in September or October. 30 pounds covers up to 5,000 ft2 Apply 6 pounds. per 1,000 ft2 Apply 10 pounds per 1,000 ft2 if grass clippings are removed or if the turf is heavily used or intensively managed.

From the leaders in soil health and plant care, Suståne has developed a combination product that deploys the best components for Rapid Plant and Turf Establishment. BOLSTER GRANULAR 4-4-4 + Iron contains a powerful, synergistic blend of mycorrhizae, growth factors, and plant biostimulants proven to promote rapid root development, superior growth, and protect roots from drought, stress, transplant shock, pathogens, and soil contaminants.
BOLSTER GRANULAR 4-4-4 + Iron is designed for all turfgrass and landscape plantings. Bolster G is during core aerification of golf course greens and other fine turfgrass. It is also used in the soil profile during new greens construction and landscape bed preparation as well as in container mix substrates. Bolster G must be incorporated into the root zone to achieve the full benefit.
25 years of applied research have consistently proven Suståne Natural Fertilizers to be the leader in plant establishment, soil physical improvement, and biological disease suppression. Suståne Triple Four is made from a thorough, aerobic composting process unlike any other organic fertilizer on the world market today. This basic Suståne contains 3% organically chelated iron plus all major and minor elements known to be essential for plant photosynthesis. This is an 80% Slow Release Nitrogen ratio natural fertilizer rich in humic substances, is foolproof, and will not cause “fertilizer burn” to plant materials. To improve on Basic Suståne’s unsurpassed plant establishment, the following components have been added:

Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi: Glomus intraradices, Glomus etunicatum, Glomus deserticola, and Glomus clarum. Guaranteed a minimum of 3.52 propagules per g. Mycorrhizal presence equates to “Healthy Soils”. It affects available soil nutrition, the physical structure of the soil, and the number of and types of other organisms present in the soil. “Mycorrhizae” refers to the species of fungi that form beneficial associations with plants. It is a “Facilitator” that brings nutrients to plant roots, exudes “Glomalin” to improve soil structure, and actually fill up available entry sites along roots to inhibit pathogens from attacking. Mycorrhizal fungi are a critical component of healthy soils.
Turf establishment accelerates with BOLSTER GRANULAR from Suståne. A complete package containing Slow Release Nitrogen chelated micronutrients, mycorrhizal, and BOLSTER Plant Biostimulant. BOLSTER GRANULAR has been demonstrated time and again to surpass synthetic turf starter fertilizers and other sources of humates and plant biostimulants.
Preplant - Broadcast and Incorporate into the top 4 in. (5 cm) of soil
NOTE: Mycorrhizae must make contact with plant roots to remain viable. BOLSTER GRANULAR is not recommended for topdressing application

Suståne 5-2-4+Fe is the original Suståne formula first created in 1988. As this was the first Suståne product available on the market, it soon became the standard organic evaluated by numerous universities. Michigan State University, Cornell, University of Rhode Island were three of the first research facilities to discover that Suståne 5-2-4+Fe was highly suppressive of common diseases affecting cool-season grasses including root Pythium, Necrotic Ring Spot, Red Thread and to a lesser extent various patch diseases. More organic fertilizer studies have been run utilizing Suståne 5-2-4+Fe as the standard against which all other “organics” are compared.
Suståne 5-2-4+Fe is the all-purpose turf food and is available in either Medium Grade (lawn and fairway applications) or Fine Grade for putting greens. Suitable for use on all turfgrass types providing quick green up followed by long-lasting slow-release organic nitrogen. Use where even growth and color are needed for six to eight weeks.

Suståne 5-2-10+Fe combines Suståne organic compost base with iron sulfate organically chelated during the active aerobic composting phase providing for slow-release iron for enhanced chlorophyll production and turf color without excessive top growth. This is the ideal 1:2 N to K organic-based fertilizer for summer and early autumn feeding.
Additional potassium is supplied for sandy soils and USGA type putting greens where potash is often lost through leaching.
Sustane 5-2-10+Fe is the all-purpose turf food when the 1:2 N to K ratio is desired for building carbohydrate reserves in the root system. It is available in either Medium Grade (lawn and fairway applications) or Fine Grade for putting greens. Suitable for use on all turfgrass types providing quick green up followed by long-lasting slow-release organic nitrogen. Use where even growth and color are needed for six to eight weeks and potassium reserves need to be increased.
For use on sandy soils and fast-draining putting greens and high wear areas like driving ranges and tee boxes, Suståne 5-2-10+Fe is the first high-K organic product on the turf market. Many other organic fertilizer manufacturers have tried to emulate the Suståne formula over the years. None have produced a product comparable and so complete as Suståne 5-2-10+Fe. Naturally occurring sulfate of potash (potassium sulfate) from the Great Salt Lake in Utah is the only source of potash utilized in Suståne Natural Fertilizers that supplement the naturally occurring organic potash derived from the Suståne compost base.
The organically chelated iron source will not burn or blacken turfgrass. Rich in trace minerals and humic substances, Sustane 5-2-10+Fe is perfectly suited to amending low potash soils during periods of summer stress.

Professional landscapers have increasingly turned to Suståne 5-2-10+Fe for use on high maintenance turf and landscaped environments. While synthetic fertilizers supply plant growth nutrients, they do not supply the organic matter required to maintain quality growth. Using fully composted natural fertilizers increases the levels of beneficial microbial activity, which in turn convert nutrients into plant available forms.

Turf Revival is a maintenance recovery fertilizer and is an important component of any sound integrated turf management and long-term soil-building program. It provides water-soluble nitrogen for enhanced recovery without excessive growth and our unique organic compost base supplies extended slow-release organic nitrogen. The aerobically composted base material in Turf Revival also replenishes the soil with a rich supply of humus and mycorrhizal fungi which contribute to the efficient uptake of plant nutrients and overall plant health.
Turf Revival is a maintenance fertilizer formulated to assist stressed areas in recovery from maintenance, post-aerification, and seasonal changes.
Available in fine grade for greens and outfield applications.
