The first application in early spring is Suståne OMRI-listed 9-0-0 Spring Weed & Feed for crabgrass and broadleaf weed suppression and early green up. Suståne 9-0-0 is a combination of non-GMO corn gluten meal (CGM).

9-0-2 Early Summer Turf Maintenance is made with natural Chilean nitrate for a quick turf response and Suståne’s time-tested slow release nitrogen for healthy lawns with long-lasting color.
STEP 3

Apply in late summer to early autumn OMRI-listed Suståne 4-6-4 Turf Starter and Overseeder; safe to mix directly with grass seed for new growth and dense turf, and to crowd out weeds.
STEP 4

Finish the growing season strong with Suståne Winterizer 8-0-4, preparing lawns for winter before dormancy and providing residual turf food for a quick spring green-up and recovery the following year.

Suståne’s four-step program is available in 30-lb. and 50-lb. bags through independent garden centers and where professional lawncare products are sold.  The standard recommended application rate is 11 lb. per 1000 ft2.  Modify your turf fertilizer maintenance program to match turf types and different growing zones.
