APPLICATION RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SUSTÅNE COMPOST BASED NATURAL
FERTILIZERS
Suståne for grow-in and rapid establishment
For new turf establishment in sand based greens and tees Suståne Natural
Base Fertilizers can be blended into the soil mix (shown below) to provide
even distribution throughout the soil profile, or can be incorporated into
the top 4 inches (10 cm) with surface application tilled in to desired
depth, or Suståne fertilizers can be broadcast and lightly incorporated into
the surface just before seeding or sodding. (See Rec. Applications Rates,
methods with four rate options for greens and tees and three options for
fairways in table below.)

Suståne fertilizers are also widely used for ongoing establishment
requirements and maintenance fertility programs. There is a range of
